Click on photo to go down and around to the left to a portion of the Caribou Trail
that we had to detour around. As noted earlier, our preferred route to Lake Dorothy
was blocked by snow. We chose to go back on the fabled cliff-hanging trail from
the eastern direction and collect some fresh water from melting snow on the north face
of Mount Neva. Photo above is looking eastward with Boulder and the Great Plains
beyond the furthest mountain.
