The stream was full of energy. A short ways from here it made an astonishing
braid where it redivided itself and went two separate ways. At the braid
we made a complicated stream crossing. We then carefully threaded our way
through the thick forest of Paradise Park. After 30 minutes we found the ancient
unmaintained trail. It then took an hour to get to the big and too civilized looking
East Inlet Trail. While we were still in Paradise Park, Mount Baldy turned
golden and we had two suns, one getting ready to set in the west, and the
other shining from the face of Mount Baldy.
