The prominent peaks are 12,397' (3817 meter) Bowen Mountain to the left
and to the right Baker, Mount Stratus and 12,706' (3879 meter) Mount Nimbus.
At the bottom of the picture one can see Hwy. 34 as it curves around to
enter Rocky Mountain National Park. The segment of road just above the
curve is the road to Columbine Lake past the left edge of the photo.
Just beyond the segment the road curves sharply and crosses the narrow
wetlands favored by moose. The National Park Visitor Center is just off
the picture to the right of the top of the straight road segment.
