Parkview Mountain is located 24 miles up Hwy. 125 from Hwy. 40 near Granby.
It is in a very wet area of Colorado and gets about 30 feet of snow every winter.
Shown above are its east facing bowls. Our virtual hike will take you up the
shoulder in the middle between the bowls to a Lookout House hidden on top.
The Continental Divide runs along the ridge of the distant bowl and then
down to the right to where it crosses Hwy. 125 at Willow Creek Pass at the
rather low elevation of 9621 feet. Parkview Mountain is a massive 12,296 feet
(3748 meter) formation that towers above all the mountains near it.
