This little tarn is shown on maps directly west of Ouzel Peak (one air mile)
on a shoulder extending out into Paradise Park. We hoped to curve off to the
right and work our way around an irregularly shaped lake a few hundred feet
below. A very steep snowfield made the route look too dangerous, so from here,
we chose to descend to the valley floor. We had to pick our route carefully to
avoid cliffs. Click on photo to descend deep into Paradise Park.
