The woman's clean and attractive attire is typical of what we
saw, even in the deep backcountry. Bhutan actually has a dress
code and it is one of many factors that give the country stability
and coherence. Woman wear a kira. Men wear a gho. There is
also a national architecture, continued in the most remote homes,
even if the window frames have to be packed in for days.
