On day 2 we climb up 3000 feet through a very lush rain forest.
The weather is clear and the trail is mostly dry. If it had rained,
this would have been a very demanding day. The trail is very rocky
and there are many possibilities for a mishap. After cheerily
crossing this bridge, Linda slipped on a rock and fell backwards
right smack on her platypus, I mean, her platypus water backpack.
She bounced off the rock and was so sprawled out with a laughing fit
and endorphin rush, that she couldn't get back up.
