Towards nightfall, camp is set in a clearing by the river. The clouds and
mountains are playing peekaboo. Sometimes I see bit of land, way up
high where you wouldn't expect to see any, except in the Himalayas.
A little ways downstream, we passed an army camp and checkpoint
called Gunyitsawa. From a distance, I saw solders playing what looked
like horseshoes. Actually, they were having a khru match with darts.
There is an active footpath and some hidden structures across the river.
This is about 9000 feet high, so the first day didn't require much climbing.
